Collection, processing and use of personal data
Processed data categories
The following categories of data are processed: - Communication data (e.g. name, telephone, e-mail, address, IP address)- Photos (e.g. of events)- Master data (donors, members, sponsors)- Member and donor history- Donation accounting and payment data- Information data (from donation recipients)
Principles
We only collect, process and use personal data (including IP addresses) if there is a legal basis for doing so or if you have given us your consent to do so.
Processing purposes and legal bases
We and service providers commissioned by us process your personal data for the following processing purposes:- Provision of this online offering (legal basis: fulfillment of contract)- To identify faults and for security reasons (legal basis: Fulfillment of our legal obligations in the area of data security and legitimate interest in the elimination of disruptions and the security of our offers)- Sending invitations and member information of the recipient by e-mail (legal basis: consent)- Self-promotion and third-party advertising and reach measurement to the extent permitted by law (legal basis: legitimate interest on our part in direct marketing, as long as this is done in accordance with data protection and competition law requirements).
Log files
Every time you use the Internet, certain information is automatically transmitted by your Internet browser and stored by us in so-called log files. The log files are stored by us for a short period of time to investigate errors and for security reasons (e.g. to investigate attempted attacks) and then deleted. Log files whose further storage is required for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified and may be passed on to investigating authorities in individual cases. Children
This online offer is not intended for children under the age of 16.
Special categories of data
This online service only processes special categories of personal data (e.g. information on personal values, family background, religion) in accordance with the legal regulations if you have expressly consented to this or if you have obviously made this data public yourself.
Disclosure of data to other data controllers
We will only transfer your personal data to other data controllers if this is necessary to fulfill the contract, if we or the third party have a legitimate interest in the transfer or if you have given your consent.
Service providers
We commission external service providers with tasks such as donation management, programming, data hosting and hotline services. We have carefully selected these service providers and monitor them regularly.
Duration of storage; retention periods
We generally store your data for as long as is necessary to provide our online offering and the associated services or for as long as we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store it.
Newsletter
You can subscribe to newsletters as part of our online offering. If you later decide not to receive newsletters, you can unsubscribe at any time by withdrawing your consent. For e-mail newsletters, you can revoke your consent via the contact printed in the newsletter.

Our online offering may contain links to third-party websites - providers not affiliated with us. Right for information and disclosure
You have the right to receive information from us about the processing of your data. For this purpose, you can assert a right to information in relation to the personal information that we process about you.
Right of rectification and erasure
