JAGO NARI is a non-political, non-profit, rights-based, and non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to actively participating in and promoting national development by improving the socio-economic conditions and advocating for the rights of disadvantaged, deprived, backward, and impoverished communities. Founded in the mid-1998 by ?like-minded, qualified, and experienced women.
JAGO NARI is committed to providing educational support materials and assigning two teachers to conduct school sessions. These teachers will focus on a pre-primary module to prepare the students for enrollment in government primary schools. Additionally, the students will receive school uniforms. To strengthen the connection with the educational process, the teachers actively engage with the parents of the students through organized meetings.
Furthermore, JAGO NARI conducts advocacy initiatives with government primary school authorities, aiming to facilitate the smooth enrollment of Manta students into the mainstream educational system.
How they are utilizing the fund provided by Primavera India:
- Daily class sessions as per the government-approved pre-primary module
- Provision of mid-day meals and educational materials to the students
- Support for school uniforms and shoes for the students
- Positive parenting sessions with the guardians of the students
- Advocacy sessions with school authorities and other related stakeholders
